Check out how different Conor McGregor looks on his last two UFC weigh ins.
On Friday, Conor McGregor tipped the scales at 168 lbs for his welterweight bout against Nate Diaz at UFC 196. He says he has had a full belly the entire week, and claims to have never felt this good before a fight.
It really shows too. Check below for a before and after photo from McGregor’s last two weigh ins.
McGregor cuts a significant amount of weight to make 145 lbs, and on the left is a photo from his featherweight championship bout against Jose Aldo at UFC 194. On the right is Friday’s UFC 196 weigh in just three months later, where he did not cut weight.

The difference is just crazy, and to me, there are two major takeaways from this. One, this highlights the need for dangerous and drastic cuts should be lessened, if not eliminated, with more fighters hopefully thinking about their health and competing closer to their natural weight. And two, good luck to Frankie and those still waiting for McGregor to drop back down to defend his belt.
