UFC 197 is in the books. In the main event of the evening, live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones returned to the cage against Ovince Saint Preux and captured the interim title with a dominant unanimous decision victory. In the co-headliner, flyweight titleholder Demetrious Johnson defended his championship with an obliterating first-round TKO over Henry Cejudo.

Following the event, UFC officials handed out four post-fight bonuses worth $50,000 each.

Danny Roberts and Dominique Steele: These welterweights were rewarded with the Fight of the Night bonus for their three-round battle on the preliminary card. It was a very even and gritty fight that could have gone either way. Steele was able to get a handful of takedowns throughout the contest and both landed hard shots, but Roberts was able to do just enough on the feet to take a decision win, plus some extra cash.

Demetrious Johnson: The UFC flyweight champion was handed a Performance of the Night bonus for his destructive first-round TKO over Olympic gold medalist and top contender Henry Cejudo. Johnson was able to get back to his feet after getting taken down early on and land some nasty strikes in the clinch. All it took was a few knees to the body to get the job done for Johnson.

Yair Rodriguez: The TUF: Latin America 1 winner picked up a very impressive knockout win over fellow prospect Andre Fili. After a competitive first round, Rodriguez landed a stunning flying roundhouse kick and it was lights out for the Team Alpha Male product. He absolutely deserved a bonus after delivering a Knockout of the Year contender thus far.
