The dust has barely settled on UFC 202, which means it’s time to honor those select fighters who went above and beyond in their respective fights last night (Sat., Aug. 20, 2016) inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) dished out its standard post-fight monetary bonuses to four of the 24 fighters on pay-per-view (PPV card. Among the men going home with an extra $50,000 in their pockets are event headliners Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor, who won “Fight of the Night” honors thanks to their back-and-forth bloody war that saw “Notorious” even up the score at one a piece (watch video highlights here).

Unsurprisingly, Donald Cerrone once again walked away with a “Fight Night” bonus, taking home a “Performance of the Night” award for his third-round knockout of Rick Story (recap). That’s not all. Anthony Johnson will also enjoy some extra cash after he made quick work of Glover Teixeira, knocking him out in a very violent 13 seconds (video here).

Here are the special UFC 202 bonuses:

Fight of the Night — Nate Diaz vs. Conor McGregor

Performance of the Night — Donald Cerrone

Performance of the Night — Anthony Johnson

Again, each bonused fighter received $50,000 extra for their performances in addition to their respective base salaries, which Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) will disclose early next week. Remember, though, McGregor and Diaz’s salaries were released early, with “Notorious” taking home a record-setting $3 million haul and the Stockton scrapper pocketing $1 million.
