UFC 206 saw Doo Ho Choi and Cub Swanson wage absolute war in a 2016 candidate for fight of the year. A back and forth affair filled with heart and aggression was on display. Toughness and heart was the theme of the fight as Cub Swanson picked up the unanimous decision win; although, there were no real losers in this fight. It truly was an epic performance from both featherweight competitors.

Round 2 – Choi comes out strong. Swanson with some spinning stuff. Left hook from Swanson. He’s really trying to pressure back. Choi with body shots in the clinch. Swanson swarming and landing some big shots! Choi is hurt! Choi fires back and Swanson is wobbled! Swanson still all over him! CHOI BACK AT HIM NOW! SWANSON IN TROUBLE! THIS IS CRAZY! Choi all over him! Swanson with a takedown. Went to mount, but ended up in half guard. Swanson let him up with two minutes to ho. Hard straight left from Choi. Swanson with a massive right hook. Cartwheel kick connects for Swanson! Choi right back. Right hook from Choi. Right hook, and another. Both of these guys have chins of iron. Swanson all over him again and Choi is wobbled. Spinning back fist rocks him! Choi ties up and he’s still okay. I have no idea how either man is standing. This is the round of the year. Choi with a knee to the body. 10-9 Swanson.
Cub Swanson defeated Doo Ho Choi by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28)
