UFC 206 video promo for ‘Pettis vs Holloway’ on Dec. 10 in Toronto

Now that The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 24 Finale is in the books — full results here — it’s time to look ahead to Ultimate Fighting Championship’s (UFC) next pay-per-view (PPV) offering.

And it’s a good one.

The promotion is all set to return to Canada on Dec. 10, 2016, as it invades Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario on Dec. 10, 2016 with an interim Featherweight championship title fight as Anthony Pettis takes on Max Holloway in the headlining act.

It’s a main event bout that came to be after Daniel Cormier was bounced from his championship rematch against Anthony Johnson; which was originally set to headline the event.

Conor McGregor getting stripped of the title also added to the intrigue of the 145-pound affair.

Nevertheless, Pettis and Holloway will gladly via for the interim belt, since it means the winner will get a shot at unifying the belts when they challenge newly-crowned division champion, Jose Aldo, sometime in 2017.

Also on the card, Donald Cerrone will face off against Matt Brown, while Tim Kennedy faces Kelvin Gastelum in a Middleweight showdown.
