Line Movement:

Holly Holm vs. Germaine de Randamie: (W) Featherweight Title

The women’s inaugural featherweight title fight has seen a reversal of betting odds from when the lines first opened. The former UFC bantamweight champion, Holly Holm, opened up as the betting favorite with a moneyline of around -130, with her opponent Germaine de Randamie sporting the dog tag of +100. Money has been coming in on both sides, but more so in the way of De Randamie, who now owns the favorite line of -135, with Holm rocking a value of +115. The odds could shift again after the weigh-ins, but not likely to happen in this instance.

Ryan Laflare vs Roan Carneiro: Welterweight

‘Laflare wins by decision’ has seen some up and down action as the prop line opened up on February 8th (5Dimes), at around +103, before dropping down to -130 in just under 3 hours. Within 14 hours, the line shot back up into underdog territory, topping out at +100, before the roller coaster continued, and the line drooped back down into the favorite zone of -125. Expect this line to continue to fluctuate as the bout draws closer.

Islam Makhachev vs. Nik Lentz: Lightweight

Makhachev opened up at around -160 over the veteran Lentz, who opened up at around +120. The coin has been flowing steadily in the way of Makhachev, who now displays a value of around -310 to Lentz’ live dog line of +255.

Suggestions:

Islam Makhachev vs. Nik Lentz: Lightweight

Both Makhachev and Lentz will be looking to take the fight right into the other’s wheelhouse. Who is the more ‘grindier’ of the two grapplers? We shall see, but this matchup has all of the symptoms of a pick’em bout, which gives the 17-fight UFC veteran Nik Lentz @+255 cause for consideration.

Wilson Reis vs. Ulka Sasaki: Flyweight

Wilson Reis was a stones throw from a shot at the UFC flyweight king, Demetrious Johnson, before the UFC moved forward with other plans. Taking on the #5 flyweight in the world will be a tall order for the 5’11 Sasaki, despite owning a substantial height advantage. The cause for pause lies within the knees of Sasaki, which do not have much distance to travel to catch the chin of the 5’4 Reis. Fight doesn’t go to decision @-140 seems to be the move to make.
