UFC 210 ‘Embedded’ video blog (Ep. 6): Daniel Cormier jokes about weight cut, Anthony Johnson gets in trouble backstage

The scene is set. Reigning UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier will enter the cage tomorrow night (Sat., April 8, 2017) at UFC 210 live on pay-per-view (PPV) from inside the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York, to defend his title opposite brutal knockout star Anthony Johnson. Cormier’s rival, former kingpin Jon Jones, will watch from the sidelines. From there, the combat gods will take over.

But before the action ensues and UFC 210 kicks off a busy April, the main card participants were on full display in the UFC’s latest episode of “Embedded,” which can be seen above. Cormier can be seen nearly weighing in on point, while Johnson runs into trouble backstage with a producer. Also, former champion Chris Weidman understands Cormier’s trouble with the cut and Gegard Mousasi puts on his mean face.

On Episode 6 of UFC 210 Embedded, it’s a tense morning as the stars of the card hit their numbers at the official weigh-in: strawweights Cynthia Calvillo and Pearl Gonzalez, middleweights Chris Weidman and Gegard Mousasi, and light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier and challenger Anthony “Rumble” Johnson. Later that day, they face off once more in front of fans at the ceremonial weigh-in. UFC 210 Embedded is an all-access, behind-the-scenes video blog leading up to the light heavyweight title rematch at UFC 210: Cormier vs. Johnson 2, taking place Saturday, April 8th live on Pay-Per-View.
