Check out the third episode of Embedded for UFC 220.

UFC 220 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the third episode for this weekend’s big show in Boston, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.

Daniel Cormier is in his hotel gym working out with his team. As usual they’re clowning around, and DC makes fun of one of his coaches that tries to dance to a Tupac track. He’s watching a Volkan Oezdemir fight on his phone while he runs on a treadmill.

Down in Florida, coach Henri Hooft talks about Cormier, and Oezdemir’s chances against him. Back at his house, Volkan talks about watching the first Embedded episode and how Stipe Miocic was stuck in the snow.

Miocic arrives in Boston with his coach, and somehow the driver doesn’t know who Christopher Walken is.

Both Stipe and Francis Ngannou head to Connecticut to do some ESPN stuff. Ngannou talks a bit about his childhood in Africa. When they get on the SportsCenter set, Ngannou wants the interviewer to sit between them because, and I quote, “my hand can slide, you know”. I guess he means he doesn’t want to hit him.

Stipe comes out, bowtie and all. He says he has no ill will towards Francis and it’s just promotion. Ngannou admits that it’s a little bit weird to sit there with his opponent. He ends his statement with “now is my time.”
