It might be a while before Cody Garbrandt gets to step back into the Octagon.

Things haven’t been so chipper for Cody Garbrandt lately. The Team Alpha Male bantamweight came up short in his quest to regain the UFC bantamweight title when he fell to T.J. Dillashaw again in the first round of the UFC 227 headliner last weekend. And to add injury to insult, he may be out for up to six months after potentially breaking his hand in the bout.

The California State Athletic Commission released the medical suspensions coming out of UFC 227, and Garbrandt was handed a 180-day term until he’s cleared due to the hand injury. Somewhat surprisingly, only one other fighter – Brett Johns – was handed a long suspension due to injury, and his is actually indefinite.

Here’s a look at the full (and short) list of suspensions:

Brett Johns: Suspended indefinitely or until cleared for facial injury, possible orbital fracture

Cody Garbrandt: Suspended 180 days no contact or until cleared by physician for possible fracture to right hand; minimum suspension of 45 days no contest, 30 days no contact due to KO loss

Kevin Holland: Suspended 60 days no contact or until cleared by physician for laceration to left eyelid

Alex Perez: Suspended 60 days no contact or until cleared by physician for laceration to left eyebrow

Wuliji Buren: Suspended 60 days no contact or until cleared by physician for laceration to top of scalp; minimum suspension of 45 days no contest, 30 days no contact due to KO loss

Jose Torres: Suspended 45 days no contest, 30 days no contact due to KO loss
