Check out the second episode of Embedded for UFC 229.
UFC 229 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the second episode for this weekend’s big show in Vegas, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.
Like the first episode, we start with Khabib Nurmagomedov. He’s in Vegas at Cobrinha BJJ. He rolls for a bit, just to break a sweat. Khabib says he’s doing this not just for himself, but for his family and friends.
Conor McGregor is at the Performance Institute. He does a little run on a treadmill. Later that night, they show Tony Ferguson playing basketball in the gym. They kick around a bigger ball as well and Ferguson mugs for the camera a bit and asks where “McNuggets” and “Tiramisu” are at.
Duke Roufus talks to Anthony Pettis about getting hit. Pettis is just going out to perform. Khabib and his team go back to their rented Vegas house to eat and have some laughs.
Michelle Waterson makes her first appearance, arriving at the Vegas airport. She did some media in LA the day before, then came in. Back in Milwaukee, Pettis is talking about being humbled by losing. He’s not looking at the belt right now, he’s looking at getting back to where he needs to be.
And that’s it! UFC 229 goes down Saturday night in Las Vegas.
