While most of the discussion has centered on Khabib Nurmagomedov’s fourth-round submission win over Conor McGregor in last Saturday night’s (Oct. 6, 2018) UFC 229 pay-per-view (PPV) headliner, held inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, the promotion’s latest mixed martial arts (MMA) offering in “Sin City” had a bevy of exciting finishes scattered across the card.

Like Scott Holtzman’s violent knockout win over Alan Patrick, for example.

UFC was kind enough to bring combat sports fans its latest addition of “Fight Motion,” which slows things down and highlights all the action in super slow motion. Though to be fair, the bloody UFC 229 co-main event between Tony Ferguson and Anthony Pettis was fun at any speed.

Unfortunately for the promotion, the event was overshadowed by the post-fight melee that had Nurmagomedov leaping into the crowd to battle McGregor’s jiu-jitsu coach, Dillon Danis, compound by the “Notorious” ambush from Team Dagestan.

BAD BLOOD.
