UFC 231 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the fourth episode for this weekend’s big show in the Toronto, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.

At the fighter hotel, Nina Ansaroff gets some screen time with Amanda Nunes. She talks about her opponent, Claudia Gadelha, and being happy to get a top-level fie. Gadelha thinks she’s more well-rounded, which will get her the W.

Max Holloway’s team and family surprise him in his hotel with birthday wishes. Out on the street, Joanna Jedrzejczyk says she likes Canada because it’s so clean and the people are nice (she’s 100% correct). She eats with her team and looks forward to media day.

Brian Ortega and Holloway do some media and the photoshoot. Holloway talks about this being a fantasy matchup for insiders. Joanna comes in and greets both Shevchenko sisters warmly (which was a bit of a surprise). They do the press conference, and Holloway tries to bait Ortega into some trash talk. He doesn’t bite. Joanna and Shevchenko are both very confident. They do the face-offs without incident as the fans cheer.

And that’s it! UFC 231 goes down Saturday night in the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.
