The end-of-year action delivered on arrival last night (Sat., Dec. 29, 2018) at UFC 232 live on pay-per-view from inside The Forum in Inglewood, Calif., as Jon Jones defeated Alexander Gustafsson via third-round TKO to reclaim his light heavyweight title.
In addition to the main event rematch, Amanda Nunes shockingly knocked out Cris Cyborg in 51 seconds to become the first two-division women’s champion in UFC history, Alexander Volkanovski scored a huge knockout finish over former featherweight title challenger Chad Mendes, Ryan Hall became the first fighter to submit the legendary B.J. Penn, and middleweight veteran Uriah Hall scored another come-from-behind knockout finish when he stopped Bevon Lewis in the third.
