UFC 235 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the fifth episode for this weekend’s big show in Vegas, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.

We start at Ultimate Media Day. Kamaru Usman is wearing a Muhammad Ali jacket. Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren pose for photos. Edmen Shahbazyan makes a cameo. Askren and Robbie Lawler talk about their fight and do their face-off. Askren makes an amusing comment about Lawler’s freckles.

Usman says that Woodley is the type of guy that he would “beat the sh-t out of in college”. Woodley says he’s not about the talk. Which is kind of funny.

Anthony Smith says he’s going to fight how he normally fights. Jon Jones is blowing off Smith’s attempts at mental warfare.

At the UFC PI, Zabit Magomedsharipov is working out, as is Johnny Walker. Cody Garbrandt says he still has that fire as a fighter. He thinks opponent Pedro Munhoz is nervous. Marc Montoya talks about the major differences between Smith fighting at 185 as opposed to 205. He’s having a lot more fun now.

Open workouts time. Woodley and Askren roll, then Askren busts out some horrible rap lyrics for the media. Usman takes pics with fans, does some dancing, and puts on a show. Smith is grateful for the experience. Jones, Greg Jackson, and the team all dance to Justin Timberlake on the bus ride over. Jones shows up with his daughter sitting on his shoulders. He gives major props to his team.

And that’s it! UFC 235 goes down tomorrow night in Vegas.
