Don’t worry, Jon Jones’ UFC 235 pre-fight drug tests will be released before fight night.

As of yet, the results of Jon Jones’ UFC 235 pre-fight drug tests haven’t been released to the public.

But, according to Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) chairman Anthony A. Marnell III, all will be revealed before fight night.

“We will be releasing the Jon Jones tests, but we will not do that until sometime very, very close to the night of the fight,” Marnell said during the chairman’s report portion of Monday’s monthly commission meeting, per MMA Junkie’s John Morgan. “So if you could stop requesting that data from the executive director, it would be helpful because it’s not going to come out until we’re ready to send it out and have all of that properly put together – but it will be published before the fight.”

Jones has received a tidal wave of criticism since testing positive for trace amounts oral turinabol in the lead-up to his light heavyweight championship rematch against Anthony Gustafsson at UFC 232. Jones went on to win the fight via third-round technical knockout, but the NSAC refused to license the JacksonWink product and the UFC was forced to change venue at the last minute.

After hearing his case at a meeting last month, however, the commission decided to grant ‘Bones’ with a one-fight license for UFC 235, where he will defend his light heavyweight title against Anthony Smith in the main event.

The highly anticipated pay-per-view will take place this Saturday, March 2 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
