Flyweight contender Alexandre Pantoja continued his dominance earlier tonight (Sat., April 13, 2019) at UFC 236 from inside State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, when he put a stop to former UFC title challenger Wilson Reis via first-round TKO (punches).

While Reis controlled some of the action in the early going and even landed a brief takedown, it was Pantoja who did the most damage when he blasted the Brazilian with a straight right hand that put Reis on the canvas. Pantoja followed his efforts up with vicious ground-and-pound. Reis was given enough time to recover and coherently defend but the referee eventually stepped in for the stoppage.

With this performance, Pantoja extends his current flyweight win streak to three and his overall UFC record to 5-1. The former Ultimate Fighter standout has looked absolutely incredible since his UFC debut back in 2017 and has done enough over the past 12 months to warrant a title shot in 2019, should UFC decide to keep the flyweight division around.
