Check out the first episode of Embedded for UFC 237.
UFC 237 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the first episode for this weekend’s big show in Brazil, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.
We start things off at the home of UFC women’s strawweight Rose Namajunas. She shows off her garden, and talks about gardening being the polar opposite of fighting. Of course, Pat Barry makes an appearance. Thug Rose talks about going to Brazil to defend her belt in “hostile territory”.
Down in Rio de Janeiro, challenger Jessica Andrade drives and discusses her opponent. She talks about being indigenous and believing in the power of nature. She prays to a tree.
Jose Aldo is in another part of Rio, showing off a mural that was made in his honor. They air some of his training while he talks about opponent Alexander Volkanovski, and how a win will have him close to another title shot.
At the MMA Lab in Phoenix, Jared Cannonier is teaching a striking class. He’s prepping for his fight with Anderson Silva.
Back to Rose’s place. She shows off her piano-playing skills while she talks about the improvements she has made. Barry leaves her a drink on the piano, but her mom had one rule – no drinks on the piano. So she apologizes to her mom.
And that’s it! UFC 237 goes down Saturday night in Rio.
