Check out the fourth episode of Embedded for UFC 239.

UFC 239 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the fourth episode for this weekend’s big show in the Vegas, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.

Luke Rockhold is in his room doing some sparring. His dog is there. The theme of his camp is feeling good. He drops a few lines that sound like catchphrases, and spars with the dog.

Michael Chiesa says that he received a message from Diego Sanchez that said “respectfully, I suggest that you tell your trophy wife to stay at home for this one.” Him and his coach have a good laugh about that. He’s doing some reaction techniques in the PI. He then does some clowning around with Rockhold.

Open workouts time. Holly Holm is up first. She talks to the crowd a bit. She sounds very confident. Next up is Jon Jones. He talks about not being as concerned with Thiago Santos’ power, it’s that no one has been able to land that KO shot on him yet, and he doesn’t think it’ll happen Saturday night. Ben Askren is pleased at how the fans have embraced him. There is still a bit of heckling from the audience though. Santos says it’s his moment, his time.

Jorge Masvidal shows up on the bus and is laughing with Mike Brown. He makes it clear that he doesn’t like Askren and it’s going to end “painfully and brutally.” Finally it’s Amanda Nunes. She’s excited.

There’s just two days until UFC 239 goes down in the T-Mobile Arena in Vegas.
