Check out the second episode of Embedded for UFC 240.
UFC 240 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the second episode for this weekend’s big show in Edmonton, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.
We start off at Snow Valley with Max Holloway. He and his team always get to events early and check out local stuff to do, and in Edmonton, the aerial park is a unique experience. They’re all clowning around, as expected.
Down in Orlando, Felicia Spencer is at the farmers market. She buys some avocados. Back in Edmonton, Cris Cyborg is getting her nails done. She was in South Africa for two months. She talks about her quick loss to Amanda Nunes and how people don’t know how she dealt with the loss. She said she wasn’t angry, and everything happens for a reason. She’s played sports all her life, and you don’t always win.
Holloway is driving around a national park to see some bison. They get pretty close. Holloway tries to bet someone 100 bucks to go touch one. They go on a hike. Lots of mosquitoes. Holloway jumps out of the bush to scare his teammates, which is pretty funny.
Back at Spencer’s house now. She’s getting a Canadian and US flag painted on her face. They might wear the same makeup for weigh-in day.
We head up to the Jersey shore. Frankie Edgar is running and trying not to think about the fight too much this far out. Lots of fans on the boardwalk are wishing him well. Then he goes swimming.
And that’s it! UFC 240 goes down Saturday night in Edmonton, Alberta.
