Former UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar looks to be in great shape ahead of his featherweight title bout against Max Holloway at UFC 240, as the 37-year-old looked as sharp as ever at Wednesday’s open workouts in Alberta, Canada.

Edgar, a UFC veteran of over twelve years, earned his title shot after beating fellow veteran Cub Swanson via unanimous decision in the UFC Fight Night 128 co-main event last year. Prior to that, ‘The Answer’ was knocked out by 28-year-old Brian Ortega at UFC 222, who went on to challenge ‘Blessed’ for the featherweight title at UFC 231. Ortega was stopped in the fourth round after being battered for most of the fight.
UFC 240, which features Holloway vs. Edgar as the main event, takes place this Saturday, July 27 at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
