Check out the seventh episode of Embedded for UFC 241.

UFC 241 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the seventh and final episode for this weekend’s big show in Anaheim, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.

We jump straight to the official weigh-ins. Daniel Cormier and Anthony Pettis are talking in the back. Pettis gets on the scale and he’s 169.5. DC is up next. He’s a svelte 236.5. Paulo Costa is 186. They show Nate Diaz arriving in a truck. He’s on the scale at 170. He’s straight back out to the truck. Stipe Miocic is 230.5. The last guy is, surprise, Yoel Romero. He makes it though. 184.5. Wow. Championship weight.

Now it’s the ceremonial weigh-ins. They show Stipe’s family, then Cormier’s. They skip all the way to Diaz and Pettis. Diaz obviously gets a huge reaction. Pettis’ is mixed. They’re pretty chill at the face-off. Nate is relatively sedate on the mic as well. Pettis gets booed more once he’s on the mic. He’s brief too.

Then it’s onto Cormier and Miocic. They shake hands but get in close for the staredown. Miocic feels fantastic. DC says it’s about his belt. And still.

UFC 241 goes down tonight in Cali!
