Watch the media day staredowns for UFC 241: Cormier vs. Miocic 2, which did not involve Nate Diaz.
UFC 241 media day took place in California on Thursday, and you know this is a big event when the entire card gets to do the faceoffs. While headliners Daniel Cormier and Stipe Miocic had a normal staredown, co-headliner Anthony Pettis was left without someone to look at in menacing fashion.
Nate Diaz participated extensively in Wednesday’s open workouts, but skipped out on media day. Dana White granted Diaz’s request, and White ended up being the only one on stage alongside “Showtime.” The scene was quite humorous. If you want an actual Diaz-Pettis staredown, I guess you’ll have to wait for Friday’s ceremonial weigh-ins.
