Zane Simon & Eddie Mercado are here to breakdown UFC 246 with hot takes, possible next fights, as well as reactions to the overall event.

This Saturday’s, Jan. 18th., UFC 246 PPV event, from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, showcased the return of Conor McGregor at UFC 246 in the Main Event. What better opponent could there have been at this point in time, than Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone? He entered the octagon tonight fighting out of Albequerque, New Mexico’s BMF Ranch, with a legendary 36-13 fight record; meanwhile, Conor hadn’t had a bout since October 6, 2018, when he lost via Sub-Rear-Naked Choke at 3:03 of Round 4 against the infamous Khabib ‘The Eagle’ Nurmagomedov, after having been defeated in a Boxing Bout by Floyd Mayweather, Jr. via KO/TKO at 1:05 of Round 10 the previous year, so the last time he actually won a bout in the UFC was against Eddie Alvarez back in November, 2016 – did any of that matter? Nope. The Notorious Conor decimated Cowboy in a shocking forty second defeat via KO/TKO-Head Kick and Punches in the first Round, throwing shoulders like crazy, Cowboy didn’t even know what hit him, it was just over.

Also on the card, was a women’s Bantamweight Co-Main Event, with the #8 ranked ‘Preachers Daughter’ Holly Holm coming off a swift loss to Amanda Nunes on July 6, 2019, she went up against #5 ranked ‘Rocky’ Raquel Pennington, who was coming off a win against Irene Aldana back in July, 20, 2019 – Holly was determined to come away with a win and she managed a Unanimous Decision in what many called a boring fight; rounding things out, we were also treated to another women’s bout in the Prelims Featured Fight between up-and-comer Maycee ‘The Future’ Barber and the veteran, Bloody Elbow’s own, Roxanne ‘The Happy Warrior’ Modafferi… the underdog Roxy completely destroyed Barber, who was a gracious loser on the mic…. what a night of fights we have to discuss with you!
