The first UFC show of 2020 will feature the return of Conor McGregor, but this time there’s no belt on the line. “The Notorious” Irishman will take on Donald Cerrone in a welterweight fight that is evidently supposed to double as a potential lightweight title shot for McGregor.
As for the co-main event, a rematch between former women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm and Raquel Pennington is on tap, as Pennington seeks the win she couldn’t quite manage to get when she was Holly’s debut opponent in the UFC back in 2015. Rounding out the main card are heavyweights Oleskiy Oliynyk and Maurice Greene, strawweights Claudia Gadelha and Alexa Grasso, and lightweights Anthony Pettis and Carlos Diego Ferreira.
Oh yeah, and starting with this show the PPVs cost $65 on ESPN+.
