MMA: UFC 205-McGregor vs Alvarez

Check out the betting lines for Conor McGregor vs. Cowboy Cerrone in the UFC 246 main event.

UFC president Dana White has just announced that Conor McGregor will return to MMA competition at UFC 246 on January 18, 2020 to face longtime promotional vet, Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone. Bloody Elbow is here to provide the associated betting lines.

Gambling website BetOnline.ag has McGregor opening up as a -250 betting favorite for his return to action. As for the much more active Cowboy, he has been labeled with a starting underdog moneyline of +210. No exotic bets have been released yet.

McGregor will be returning to the Octagon for the first time since getting submitted by Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229 back in October of 2018. Cerrone is coming off of a knockout loss to Justin Gaethje back at UFC Vancouver in November of this year, and has fought five times since McGregor’s last bout.

Despite both athletes competing at lightweight in their last UFC outings, this matchup will be taking place at 170-pounds. Both McGregor and Cerrone have tried their hands at welterweight before, but each have seen much more success in lighter divisions. Is the weight something to consider before making a wager?
