All eyes are on tomorrow’s UFC 247 pay-per-view in Texas, but next month features a big middleweight title fight in the UFC 248 main event.
On March 7th, reigning champion Israel Adesanya makes the first defense of his title against Yoel Romero, who’s hoping that the third time is the charm and that he will get that elusive UFC belt. Romero is coming off two straight (albeit very close) losses and is really only getting this title shot because of Paulo Costa’s injury, but this is nevertheless a very intriguing contest.

UFC 248 takes place in Las Vegas, Nevada at the T-Mobile Arena. The co-main event is a strawweight title bout between new champion Weili Zhang and former champ Joanna Jedrzejczyk, but neither one of them will be at Friday’s presser.
