The UFC showcased a headliner featuring a Women’s Featherweight World Championship Bout with the Current Best Pound For Pound Female MMA Fighter, Amanda ‘The Lioness’ Nunes, defending her title at UFC 250 in the Main Event TONIGHT (Sat., June 6, 2020) from inside the brand new UFC APEX Fight Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The contender was Felicia ‘Feenom’ Spencer, who entered the octagon having last defeated Zarah Fairn at UFC on ESPN+ 27 back in February of this year, fighting out of Orlando, Florida, with a 8-1 fight record going up against Nunes’ unprecedented ten-fight win streak, having last defeated Germaine de Randamie at UFC 245 back in Dec. 2019, with a current 19-4 record.
Also on the card, was a highly-anticipated Bantamweight scrap, which many felt should have been the co-main event. It was a battle between the current #2 best MMA Bantamweight Fighter, Aljamain ‘Funk Master’ Sterling against the #4 best in Cory Sandhagen; the actual co-main was also a Bantamweight bout but between the #6 & #7 ranked Raphael Assunção and Cody ‘No Love’ Garbrandt… what a fun night of fights we had to look forward to!
You may have your reasons not to watch this event live, or shell out the cash for the PPV – so we did it for you. Maybe there is just something more important going on tonight, where you just can’t be in front of the TV. Whatever the case may be, we’ve got you covered!
