The promotion’s welterweight champ, Kamaru Usman faces surging contender, Gilbert Burns; the UFC’s featherweight king, Alexander Volkanovski, is running it back against the former champion, Max Holloway; and the the vacant bantamweight title issue will be resolved by Petr Yan and Jose Aldo. The current 170-pound title holder, Kamaru Usman, has opened up as a -200 betting favorite, with the promotion’s #1 ranked welterweight, Gilbert Burns, beginning his UFC 251 betting life as a +170 underdog. Burns is on quite the mean streak, but Usman has yet to taste defeat inside the UFC Octagon.
For the UFC 251 featherweight title tilt, the defending champion, Alexander Volkanovski, opened up as a -190 betting favorite, with a +165 comeback on the former champ, Max Holloway. The first time they met at UFC 245, it was Volkanovski who was a +145 underdog to Holloway’s favored mark of -175.
The card’s third title fight will be for the company’s vacant 135-pound strap. The odds makers really like them some Petr Yan here, labeling the UFC’s #3 ranked 135-pounder with sizable favored tick of -240. As for the UFC’s former featherweight king in Jose Aldo, the now bantamweight has spawned a betting line with an underdog tag of +205.
