After spending more than a year behind closed doors, thanks to the outbreak of coronavirus, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will once again pack the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, for the “Poirier vs. McGregor 3” pay-per-view (PPV) event on Sat., July 10, 2021.
And it looks like UFC is trying to recoup its lost gates all at once.
Ticket prices for the UFC 264 fight card go on sale today (April 15) and range from $300-$10,000, according to Aaron Bronsteter, and you’ll need a subscription to UFC Fight Club to buy them. Additional pre-sale tickets go on sale tomorrow (April 16) at 5 p.m. ET but require a special code available by subscribing to the UFC newsletter here.
Assuming there are any seats still available by the time the two pre-sales are over, the general public will have access to whatever’s leftover at AXS.com. Unless you have money to burn or have been saving up for this kind of thing, prepare to be disappointed when you see what $300 gets you. I don’t want to call those seats high altitude, but Cain Velasquez would be 0-17 if that’s where his career was spent.
UFC 264 will feature the third (and hopefully final) fight between Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor. “The Diamond” stopped “Notorious” earlier this year at UFC 257, avenging a previous loss to the Irishman at UFC 178 several years back. Elsewhere on the card, Gilbert Burns collides with fellow welterweight contender Stephen Thompson in 170-pound action.
