Check out the fourth episode of Embedded for UFC 265.
UFC 265 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the fourth episode for this weekend’s huge show in Houston, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.
We start with Ciryl Gane, and his coach telling a story about getting dropped by him and realizing how hard he really hits. Gane lands a bunch of knees on pads and his coach is hurting.
Jose Aldo is jumping rope. Andre Pederneiras expects Aldo to win this fight, then beat T.J. Dillashaw, then see who has the belt at that point. Ambitious. He gets back into the spongebob sauna and says he has no problem with fighting a fellow Brazilian.
Michael Chiesa with the commercial for a mobile game. This isn’t the first time this has happened in an Embedded episode, and it’s super cheesy.
In the lobby, Pedro Munhoz is signing posters and Gilbert Burns brings him a tea. They’ve known each other a long time. Vicente Luque does his photoshoot and some media. Chiesa does too. He’s complimentary of Luque.
Aldo signs some posters with Tecia Torres, and speaks English! I knew he could! Chiesa signs some too and he says it’s an honor to be on a card with Aldo.
Gane walks through the lobby singing a song in a high-pitched voice. He says he’s a great dancer. They show him the clip of Derrick Lewis saying his balls was hot, and Gane translates it into French.
Lewis says it’s a dream to fight for the title in his hometown. He believes he’s always been the underdog, in the cage and in life, but he’s a fighter. He’s ready to tell a good story.
And that’s it! UFC 265 goes down Saturday night in Houston.
