Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is set to make history. Indeed, Dana White and Co. are about to unveil the first-ever live mixed martial arts (MMA) event inside The Sphere, a multi-million “Love Letter” to celebrate Mexican Independence day and all the combat sports stars who have laced up the gloves heretofore.
UFC 306 takes place tonight (Sat., Sept. 14, 2024) in Las Vegas, Nevada, with a long-awaited clash of styles between sharp-shooting Bantamweight champion, Sean O’Malley, locking horns with 135-pound Energizer bunny, Merab Dvalishvili. In UFC 306’s pay-per-view (PPV) co-main event, women’s Flyweight rivals Alexa Grasso vs. Valentina Shevchenko will square off once more in a trilogy to settle their score once and for all (hopefully).
In other UFC 306 PPV main card action, Octagon veteran, Brian Ortega, looks to not be a stepping stone for red-hot Diego Lopes, Daniel Zellhuber locks horns with Esteban Ribovics at Lightweight and Ronaldo Rodriguez meets Ode Osbourne at Flyweight in the ESPN+ curtain jerker.
UFC 306’s entire “Prelims” undercard will stream on ESPN+ (in English and Spanish), beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET / 4:30 p.m. PT (ESPNN will simulcast the “late” portion at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT) before the PPV main card action kicks off at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT (also on ESPN+). Of course, UFC 306 odds and betting available at DraftKings Sportsbook.
