Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) announced earlier today (Sat., June 1, 2019) that it will be hosting its first event ever in Denmark on September 28 from inside Royal Arena in Copenhagen.

The UFC Copenhagen card will air live on the ESPN+ streaming service. Tickets are expected to go on sale later this month.
While no bouts have been announced for the event just yet, UFC would be wise to incorporate up-and-coming Danish prospects of all shapes and sizes. As it stands right now, the current UFC roster offers little depth in fighters from the Denmark area.
Maybe it’s time to bring Nicolas Dalby and Mads Burnell back into the UFC fold, or even call upon surging featherweight finisher Soren Bak.
