UFC announces Georges St-Pierre vs Michael Bisping middleweight title fight

Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner!

Yoel who?

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight titleholder Michael Bisping will make his next 185-pound title defense against welterweight import and former 170-pound kingpin Georges St-Pierre, who returned to mixed martial arts (MMA) earlier this month following a multi-year layoff.

Bad idea?

A date and venue have not been established at this time (probably because of this); however, the promotion will hold a special news conference on Friday — attended by both “The Count” and “Rush” — to reveal the finer details.

“We haven’t set a date yet, but that’s the fight,” White told the gang at ESPN’s SportsCenter. “He has to go through USADA, he has to be tested by USADA for the next three months. There’s a lot of things that have to happen for Georges St-Pierre to come back, and then we’ll pick a date.”

And Bisping can also pick a date … a retirement date.

That’s because “The Count” will at long last get the big-money fight he was searching for courtesy of the “King” of pay-per-view (PPV) buys, though you can expect some of the contending middleweights — particularly this guy — to have something to say about this recent booking.

No joke.
