MONTREAL – While UFC president Dana White revealed he
expects this weekend’s UFC 124 event to break
the North American record in both attendance and live gate, in truth,
the figures will only be placeholders.
The recently announced UFC 131 event is expected to once again up the
bar in both of those categories.
But exactly how high those figures will rise remains to be seen. White
insists he will not allow the quality of his show to suffer simply for
an attendance figure, though he was encouraged by a recent trip to
the massive Cowboys Stadium, home of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys.
