Check out the betting odds for Saturday’s UFC Brasilia card, where Kevin Lee is favored over Charles Oliveira in the main event.

It’s fight day for UFC Brasilia, which despite the widespread coronavirus, is taking place from the Ginasio Nilson Nelson venue in Brazil (closed to the public). The card’s featured matchup includes a top-tier lightweight tilt between Kevin Lee and Charles Oliveira. The co-main event involves two exceptional Brazilian grapplers in Demian Maia and Gilbert Burns. Bloody Elbow is here to provide the betting lines.

In the UFC Brasilia marquee matchup, the betting public like them some Kevin Lee, even though he missed weight. At first, the oddsmakers set Lee’s moneyline at an underdog value of +100, but wagers on the “Motown Phenom” now have him residing at a favored tick of -150. As for Oliveira, he first starting his UFC Brasilia betting life as a -140 betting favorite, but the coin dropped on his opponent leaves him in underdog territory at +140.

The over/under for this 25-minute main event has been set at 2.5 rounds. The ‘Under’ owns the favored line here at -147, with a +132 comeback on the ‘Over.’ The bookies strongly believe that this lightweight bout will be ending early. Betters can lay the price on the prop bet ‘Fight doesn’t go to decision’ at a cost of -370, or take the price on ‘Fight goes to decision’ for +280. Neither fighter owns a minus line inside the distance, but Lee is awfully close. The exotic bet ‘Lee wins inside distance’ barely holds an underdog tag at +100, with ‘Not Lee inside distance’ at -130. Going back the other way, ‘Oliveira wins inside distance’ sits at a larger underdog mark of +185, with ‘Not Oliveira inside distance’ available at -245.

For the UFC Brasilia co-main event, the oddsmakers are favoring Gilbert Burns over Demian Maia. Burns straight up can be acquired at -170, with Maia in the underdog slot at +160. The over/under for this 15-minute affair has been assessed at 2.5 rounds. The ‘Over’ option is on the table at -220, with the ‘Under’ under dogging at +190.

Unlike the main event, the co-main has been projected to end early. At a moneyline of -190, the wager ‘Fight goes to decision’ is favored, with ‘Fight doesn’t go to decision’ trending at a value of +158. Since both men are such prolific BJJ practitioners, let’s take a look at each fighter’s odds to sniff out a sub. Whether it’s ‘Burns wins by submission’ or ‘Maia wins by submission,’ both propositions clock in with lines of +595, with ‘Any other result’ for both options favored at -1185 a piece.
