The coronavirus epidemic makes yet another change to the UFC Brasilia card on March 14.

The media day and ceremonial weigh-ins were called off and the UFC Brasilia event is now being held behind closed doors because of the coronavirus epidemic. And now the event is going to begin two hours earlier, too.

Due to other sporting events also being cancelled around the world to prevent people from spreading the virus even further, Combate reported that the UFC decided to begin UFC Brasilia two hours earlier in order to better fit the TV schedules of countries that were majorly affected by those called off events, such at the Australian F-1 GP.

Originally scheduled to begin at 5pm ET, UFC Brasilia will now start at 3pm ET. This is the latest change in a string of last-minute measures taken because of the coronavirus pandemic, after the Federal District governor released a decree calling off all sportings events that host over 100 people in Brasilia until March 16.

UFC Fight Night 170 is expected to take place on March 14, in Brasilia, Brazil. The card is scheduled to be headlined by a lightweight bout between contenders Charles Oliveira and Kevin Lee.
