After an exhilarating main card that saw five finishes, the UFC handed out their post event bonuses.

UFC Brisbane was quite the event for the Australian fans. Five of the six main card fights ended in a finish with four (T)KO’s and one submission finish. Four $50,000 bonuses were handed out, with each going to a fighter involved in the three main fights of the night.

The Fight of the Night went to the exhilarating display of young talent showed by both Jake Matthews and Johnny Case. Even though Matthews got the win, Case still got to go home with an extra $50,000 for taking part in the most exciting fight of the night.

In terms of individual performance bonuses, they were doled out as expected as well. The “Super Samoan” Mark Hunt earned 50k for his walk-off knockout of Frank Mir in the main event.

The other Performance of the Night bonus went to Neil Magny, who was the first person to stop Hector Lombard in a fight. His 3rd round submission win earned him an extra $50,000 on top of his win bonus.
