The early morning action delivered in waves today (Sat., Dec. 21, 2019) at UFC Fight Night 165 live on ESPN+ from inside Sajik Arena in Busan, South Korea, as “Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung put a brutal stop to former UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar via a first-round TKO in their main event clash (HIGHLIGHTS HERE).
In addition to Jung’s memorable stoppage, South Korean finisher Da Un Jung found a home for a powerful knockout win over veteran light heavyweight Mike Rodriguez, rising Canadian prospect Charles Jourdain scored an upset TKO win over Doo Ho Choi in a true featherweight barn burner, flyweight contender Alexandre Pantoja leveled Matt Schnell via first-round knockout in a “Prelims” showdown, and women’s strawweight Amanda Lemos returned to action to submit Miranda Granger via first-round rear-naked choke.
