Daron Cruickshank is now a free agent, as the former Ultimate Fighter competitor and the UFC have parted ways.
Cruickshank, who debuted with the UFC back in 2012 after a stint on TUF, went 5-6 with one no-contest over his Octagon career. After defeating Anthony Njokuani in 2014 via decision, though, Cruickshank (16-8) was held winless over his last four bouts.
He had a fight with K.J. Noons end in a no-contest, with submission losses – all via rear-naked choke – coming at the hands of Beneil Dariush, James Krause and Paul Felder.
I've officially been released. It's been a pleasure and privilege to fight for the UFC. I am now currently looking for a fight elsewhere.

Cruickshank’s time on The Ultimate Fighter was stopped by James Vick. He scored a decision vs. Drew Dober in the first round.
