UFC welterweight DaMarques Johnson (11-8) will meet Michael “The Joker” Guymon (12-4-1) on January 22nd at the as yet to be announced, UFC Fight for the Troops 2 event in Fort Hood, Texas.

This is the third bout to surface for the upcoming January event which also features bouts between Yves Edwards vs. Melvin Gillard, and Amilcar Alves vs. Charlie Brenneman.
Johnson, a “TUF 9″ finalist, wants to rebound from a loss to Matthew Riddle at the UFC Live: Jones vs. Matyushenko. He weighed in at 172.5 lbs for the fight and gave up 20% of his earnings to Riddle. Before the loss, Johnson had won two straight since losing at the TUF 9 Finale having defeated Brad Blackburn and Edgar Garcia.
Guymon will be fighting for his UFC survival on Jan. 22nd having gone 1-2 with the promotion. He was forced to tap out against Daniel Roberts at last months UFC 121 event due to an anaconda choke, a submission which earned Roberts the “Submission of the Night” bonus. Guymon lost his UFC debut to Rory MacDonald at UFN 20 and rebounded to earn a unanimous decision over Yoshiyuki Yoshida at UFC 113.
