This Saturday’s, July 18th., UFC on ESPN 14 Fight Night event, broadcast from the brand new Flash Forum facility on the infamous FIGHT ISLAND (Yas Island) off the coast of Abu Dhabi, showcased a solid card featuring a Title fight for the UFC Vacant Flyweight Championship between Deiveson ‘Deus Da Guerra’ and Joseph ‘The Beefcake’ Benavidez – Take 2. Our co-main event showcased a Middleweight tilt between Jack ‘The Joker’ Hermansson & Kelvin Gastelum.
Also on the card, we had a highly-anticipated main card opener between Flyweights Alexandre ‘The Cannibal’ Pantoja and Askar ‘Bullet’ Askarov, which was preceded by a thrilling Fight of the Night brawl between Rafael ‘Ataman’ Fiziev and Marc ‘Bonecrusher’ Diakiese; rounding things out we were also treated to POTN efforts put forth by both Ariane ‘Queen of Violence’ Lipsky and ‘Deus Da Guerra’ Deiveson Figueiredo. Overall, the twelve bout card saw every bout either finish in Round 1 or go to the judges scorecards. We saw six decisions, only one KO/TKO and five Subs; the entire card was quite impressive…. what a fun night of fights we have to discuss with you!
