Onetime middleweight contender Nate Marquardt
believes he’s within striking distance of another shot at the
middleweight title, and he’s got to get through Rousimar Palhares if he has any hope of making that happen in the next year.
Palhares, meanwhile, is on a three-fight tear and needs a victory over a
big-name opponent to solidify his status near the top of the 185-pound
division.
The two clash tonight at UFC Fight Night 22, which airs live on Spike TV from the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas.
