This is the UFC Fight Night 30 undercard live blog for the UFC Fight Night 30 event at the Phones 4u Arena in Manchester.

There will be six fights on the UFC Fight Night 30 undercard. Al Iaquinta vs. Piotr Hallmann, Luke Barnatt vs. Andrew Craig, Rosi Sexton vs. Jessica Andrade, Andy Ogle vs. Cole Miller, Jim Hettes vs. Robert Whiteford, and Brad Scott vs. Michael Kuiper will be featured on the prelims.

Brad Scott vs. Michael Kuiper

Round 1: Marc Goddard is the referee. Kuiper opening with outside leg kicks, but eats an uppercut which leads to the clinch. Kuiper hits a harai goshi, which plants Scott on his knees, but he stands and reaches for a single on Kuiper, which is also stuffed. They resume clinching. Referee Goddard separates them for inactivity. Scott scores with a body shot and uppercut, then presses Kuiper back into the fence. And just like that, Scott locks up a front choke and taps Kuiper against the cage.

Jimy Hettes vs. Robert Whiteford

Round 1: Neal Hall is the referee. Both fighters open southpaw. Hettes is stalking with Whiteford counterstriking a bit before they clinch along the fence. Whiteford attempts a single and then off to a double, but can’t get it. He does, however, get thrown with a whizzer. Hettes attempts a forward-facing omaplata, but can’t get it. He does, however, transition to Whiteford’s back where he locks up a body triangle. Whiteford is able to stand when Hettes lets go of the body triangle, but is taken down again before the round ends.

Round 2: Whiteford, looking fatigued, is already pushing his punches while Hettes is bouncing on his toes. Hettes jumps for a cradle off a single leg attempt and moves to the back of Whiteford. Whiteford tries to go two on one with Hettes to establish wrist control, but that allows Hettes to lock up a triangle. Hettes adjusts it and that’s all she wrote. Whiteford taps.

Andy Ogle vs. Cole Miller

Round 1: Leon Roberts is the referee. Both fighters open orthodox. Two beautiful counter rights, now three, landed flush on Ogle’s right eye. Ogle then clinches and press Miller into the fence. Ogle hits a head and arm hip toss, but Miller wins the scramble with an underhook and leg ride. He takes Ogle’s back from there and locks up the body triangle. Ogle attempting to throw punches behind him, but can’t do much but defend.

Round 2: Ogle presses Miller into the fence and is nearly tapped with a power guillotine, but moves to the opposite side and is in Miller’s butterfly guard. Miller attempts a triangle, but can’t get it. Miller drives Ogle’s hips back, then yanks him forward while hanging onto the arms for the armbar. Miller can’t finish it from the side, so lets it go and moves to the back again.

Round 3: Ogle is beginning to find his range on Miller and scoring with an overhand right. Ogle scores with a double leg and is landing hard elbows from Miller’s guard. Ogle tries to posture up and lands some shots, but Miller is doing a decent job of controlling his posture. Miller attempts an octopus guard back take, but can’t complete it. Ogle ends the round on top, but eats one last upkick.

Cole Miller def. Andy Ogle via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

Rosi Sexton vs. Jessica Andrade

Round 1: The referee is Neal Hall. Andrade opens up with a blizting series of lefts and rights and has Sexton backing up. Andrade scores an outside leg kicks and stuffs a single leg attempt from Sexton. She’s also clubbing Sexton when he back is against the fence. Andrade is scoring again with a series of rights, but Sexton is clearly hurt and clinches with the Braziian. Sexton scores with a right of her own, but there’s not much to it. And another, but Andrade is still doing damag of her own. Sexton underhooks standing and Andrade uses it for a hip throw. Sexton nearly hits a reversal from half guard, so Andrade back out. Sexton is dropped at the end of the round and eats an illegal knee, but it didn’t appear overly powerful.
