Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) just lost one of its preliminary bouts for the upcoming UFC Fight Night 88: “Almeida vs. Garbrandt” mixed martial arts (MMA) event, which takes place Sun., May 29, 2016 on FOX Sports 1 inside Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Yep, another potential USADA violation, as per UFC.com:

The UFC organization was notified today that the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) informed Carlos Diego Ferreira of a potential Anti-Doping Policy violation, stemming from a recent out-of-competition sample collection. In accordance with the UFC Anti-Doping Policy, Ferreira has received a provisional suspension, and has been removed from his scheduled bout against Abel Trujillo on May 29 in Las Vegas.

Trujillo is expected to remain on the card against an opponent to be named.

UFC Fight Night 88 will be headlined by the bantamweight showdown pitting Thomas Almeida against fellow undefeated 135-pound prospect Cody Garbrandt. Elsewhere on the card, Jeremy Stephens welcomes Renan Barao to the featherweight division.
