Just four days removed from a busy week that concluded with the historic UFC 200 card, the world’s largest fight promotion is back in action this Wednesday, July 13.
The event is headlined by a bantamweight contest between Michael McDonald and John Lineker. After sitting on the sidelines for more than two years, McDonald returned to the Octagon in January, defeating Masanori Kanehara. He’ll look to build on that strong start to the year by taking out the hard-hitting Lineker.
Lineker comes into the bout having won four straight. Since jumping from flyweight to bantamweight, he has gone 2-0, scoring one knockout and one decision victory.
In the co-main event of the evening, Tony Ferguson welcomes UFC newcomer Landon Vannata to the Octagon. Vannata brings a perfect 8-0 pro record but will face the toughest test of his career in Ferguson, who has won seven straight.
