UFC Fight Night Houston adds co-main event, six other bouts

The UFC’s return to Houston is is starting to fill out.

The UFC isn’t running a PPV on Super Bowl weekend this year, but they are still holding an event. The February 4th show will take place in the Honda Center in Houston, and will air on FS1. The headlining bout between Chan Sung Jung and Dennis Bermudez was announced over the weekend. Now the show has a co-main event, along with a bunch of other bouts.

The co-main will feature top strawweight prospect Alexa Grasso, who will take on Felice Herrig. After a strong run in Invicta, Grasso (9-0, 1-0 UFC) made her UFC debut with a decision victory over Heather Jo Clark last month. Herrig (11-6, 2-1 UFC) also picked up a win in her last Octagon appearance, submitting Kailin Curran on a Fox show in July.

Also added is a lightweight bout between Evan Dunham and Abel Trujillo. Dunham (18-6, 11-6 UFC) has won four fights in a row. Trujillo (15-6 1 NC, 6-2, 1 NC UFC) has won three in a row and five of six overall.

There were four more bouts added as well. In the light heavyweight division, Ovince Saint Preux (19-9, 7-4 UFC) will look to break a two-fight losing streak when he meets Jan Blachowicz (19-6, 2-3 UFC); Justin Ledet (8-0, 2-0 UFC) will meet Dmitry Sosnovskiy (10-0, 0-0 UFC) in a heavyweight bout; Curtis Blaydes (6-1, 1-1 UFC) takes on Adam Milstead (8-1, 1-0 UFC), also in the heavyweight division; Johnny Case (22-5, 4-1 UFC) and James Vick (9-1, 5-1 UFC) will tangle in a lightweight scrap; and finally, Chris Greutzemacher (13-1, 1-0 UFC) and Chas Skelly (16-2, 5-2 UFC) will go toe-to-toe in a featherweight bout.
