Bloody Elbow is the place to be for live and extensive fight night and post-fight coverage of UFC Fight Night: Manuwa vs. Anderson at The O2 Arena on Saturday, March 18th. The card airs live on UFC Fight Pass and is headlined by a light heavyweight bout between Jimi Manuwa and Corey Anderson.
The weigh-ins for UFC Fight Night: Manuwa vs. Anderson are in the books. Headliners Corey Anderson and Jimi Manuwa both weighed in at 205 lbs on the nose, while co-headliners Gunnar Nelson and Alan Jouban were on target at 170 lbs.
As for the rest of the card, Brad Pickett’s retirement fight vs. short-notice replacement Marlon Vera was switched to a catchweight. As MMAjunkie reported, Vera notified Pickett that he wouldn’t be able to make weight, and Pickett agreed to fighting at 140 lbs. Meanwhile, Ian Entwistle missed the bantamweight limit by three pounds, so while his fight with Brett Johns is still on, 20% of his purse will go to his opponent.
