The light heavyweight division has its next title challenger, and somehow, someway… his name is Anthony Johnson.
Nearly three years to the day of his infamous UFC release, “Rumble” strolled into Sweden’s 26,000-seat Tele2 Arena and massacred local hero Alexander Gustafsson, adding yet another unbelievable chapter to one of MMA’s most improbable redemption stories in less than three minutes time at UFC on FOX 14. Next on the docket for Johnson is a collision course against pound-for-pound great Jon Jones. But at least on Saturday, even the champ couldn’t help but marvel at the ferocity he witnessed inside that cage.
