Take a look at the UFC on FOX 19 fight card set for Saturday, April 16th at Amalie Arena in Tampa, FL, where Tony Ferguson fights Khabib Nurmagomedov in the main event.
There’s not another UFC event until April 10th, but the middle of the month features a big FOX card in Tampa, Florida. In the main event, lightweight contenders Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov square off in a five-round bout. The co-main is between light heavyweights Rashad Evans and Glover Teixeira, who is filling in for the injured Mauricio Rua.
Rounding out the main card is a middleweight rematch between Dan Henderson and Lyoto Machida. The first fight (at 205 lbs) ended in a Machida split decision win. Women’s strawweights Rose Namajunas and Tecia Torres open the main card in a rematch of their own, of which the first fight ended in a Torres victory in Invicta FC.
The preliminary card features lightweights Michael Chiesa and Beneil Dariush, as well as the return of Bethe Correia against Raquel Pennington, and John Dodson’s return to bantamweight vs. Manny Gamburyan.
