A pair of lightweight combatants have been added to this July’s upcoming UFC on FOX 8 event, as the rapidly growing card will pit journeyman Aaron Rily (30-13-1) against Justin ‘J-Bomb’ Salas (10-4).

The announcement was made Tuesday night by UFC Tonight (@UFCTonight).

As reported on @UFCTONIGHT: Lightweights @justinsalasmma and @aaronrileymma will fight at @UFConFOX 8, July 27th in Seattle, WA!

UFC on Fox: Johnson vs. Moraga (aka UFC on FOX 8) is expected to take place on July 27, 2013 at the Key Arena in Seattle, Washington. The event will see flyweight champ Demetrious ‘Mighty Mouse’ Johnson defend his title versus No. 1 contender John Moraga.

Riley is in his third stint with the top promotion, holding a record an overall record of 3-5 and a recent run of 3-3. Riley has not fought in the cage since September 2011 after a broken jaw forced an end to his UFC 135 bout with Tony Ferguson after the first round. After recovering he was to have met Cody McKenzie at UFC on FUEL TV 3 but was also pushed off that card due to injury.

Salas is also looking to rebound from a loss in his last fight and finds himself with a 1-1 record in the Octagon. ‘J-Bomb’ was stopped by Tim Means last summer at UFC on FX 3 via first round TKO. Salas was to have fought in Brazil last January at UFC on FX 7 versus Edson Barboza but fell to the injury bug and was replaced by newcomer Lucas Martins. Salas debuted at UFC on FUEL TV 1, earning a decision over Anton Kuivanen.
